At the conclusion of the workshop participants will have a working knowledge of: • Case Formulation • Criterion for Clinical Significance • Diagnostic Criteria and Descriptors • Subtypes and Specifiers • Principle Diagnosis • Provisional Diagnosis • Coding and Reporting Procedures • Highlights of Changes from DSM-IV to DSM-5 • Overview of Disorders in theDSM-5 with a focus on Substance-Related and Addictive Disorders, but will also discuss differential diagnosis with other psychiatric disorders in the manual.
