Many people who have a substance use disorder also develop other mental illnesses, just as many people who are diagnosed with mental illness are often diagnosed with a substance use disorder. The purpose of this Online Training is to provide clinicians with a detailed overview of misused drugs, including the different substances known as Opioids, Cannabinoids, and Hallucinogens. The presentation seeks to raise awareness by defining key terms, describing the main classes of misused drugs commonly available, presenting available data, and providing information on how to idenitify these drugs.
