The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) 5 is the standard classification of mental disorders used by mental health professionals in the United States. It is essential that all clinicians become proficient in the use of this critical guide. At the conclusion of the workshop participants will have a working knowledge of:

  • Overview of Disorders in the DSM-5 with a focus on Substance-Related and Addictive Disorders, but will also discuss differential diagnosis with other psychiatric disorders in the manual
