Alcohol and other drug treatment providers face many different and complex ethical issues. Concerns regarding dual relationship, scope of practice, and professional conduct frequently arise. In this course, these and other ethical issues will be discussed in the context of the ethical standards in the Nevada Administrative Code (NAC) 641C. These standards will be compared to the ethical standards of other mental health professional groups. This workshop includes the ethical code for licensed and certified alcohol and drug counselors.
