In the Zero Suicide® Identify element session, attendees will gain knowledge on how to implement comprehensive screening and assessments within a health and behavioral health system. We will look at how an organization will screen for suicide in the people served. Looking at clearly describing policies and procedures for screening patients for suicide risk, and contains a comprehensive suicide risk formulation. The purpose of the screening element is not to predict suicide but to rather plan effectively for suicide safer care. Kelly Posner, PhD. will present on the Columbia-Suicide Severity Screening Scale and Richard Egan from the OSP will present on CALM Counseling on Access to Lethal Means.
