Measuring patient outcomes, maintaining fidelity to the model, and developing a meaningful work plan and evaluation plan are keys to successful Zero Suicide implementation. During the Improve sessions (total of 4), you will work alongside professionals on creating the plan of action to move Zero Suicide throughout your organization. Your team will also start creating new and improved policies and procedures promoting Zero Suicide as your goal as you move through each of these sessions. The prospect of continuous quality improvement can seem daunting, but, to quote surgeon and public health researcher Atul Gawande, “It isn’t reasonable to ask that we achieve perfection. What is reasonable is to ask that we never cease to strive for it.”

Continuing Education Units: Due to the interactive nature, CEUs are not offered for the next four Nevada Zero Suicide® sessions.

Audience: This session is intended for Nevada Zero Suicide implementation teams. If there are Nevada stand-alone attendees, and you would like to be informed on billing and coding Medicaid processes, you are more than welcome to join in. Please understand that we will not be covering other states Medicaid billing concerns.
