ASIST is a two day training and is designed for caregivers seeking to prevent the immediate risk of suicide. The emphasis of the ASIST workshop is on suicide first aid. The workshop is two full days, 8 hours each day, 12 CEHs: please consider this when registering for this workshop. At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to: ~Recognize invitations for help ~Reach out and offer support ~Review the risk of suicide ~Apply a suicide intervention model ~Link persons at risk with community resources
