Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of treatment that focuses on examining the relationships between thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Day one of this three-day workshop will focus on: examining an overview CBT, discussing the theorists, types of CBT and various therapies, reviewing the importance of homework in increasing adherence, as well as individual participation in various training exercises. Day Two will focus on homework and tracking, paper versus computer, chain-analysis, diary cards and “There’s an App for That!” Day Three will focus on DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused CBT) and classroom exercises to review the information from the three-day training. REGISTRANTS MUST ATTEND ALL THREE DAYS OF TRAINING TO RECEIVES CEHs.
