Recent findings confirm that kids who use drugs or alcohol are at risk for other problem behaviors, including bullying and cyber-bullying, during their teen years. Prevention efforts can lessen the risk factors for drawing teens into drug and alcohol used and bullying, and may strengthen protective factors in a child’s life. In this workshop we’ll review the connection between drug and alcohol use and several types of bullying, look at prevention methods and review restorative justice practices.
